Australia Day - Saturday 26 January 2008

As Australia Day approaches, NSW Maritime gears up to prepare for Sydney Harbour's longest day of on-water celebration.

The events that take place on Australia Day are free fun to participate in both on and around the water:

1.15pm 172nd Australia Day Regatta East of Clark Island
2.00pm RAAF Roulettes Sydney Harbour
2.30pm Up close judging of the Best Dressed Vessel Competition Farm Cove
3.00pm Red Berets Parachute Display Circular Quay
3.00pm Tall Ships Race Bradleys Head for the start and finishing under the Bridge
5.00pm Sydney Ports Jazz on the Water Johnstons Bay and Pyrmont Point Park
8.45pm Darling Harbour Australia Day Spectacular Cockle Bay
