Registrations of Interest called for Berrys Bay Maritime Precinct

NSW Maritime, in conjunction with the State Property Authority, has called for Registrations of Interest (ROI) to develop a four hectare land and water site at the eastern end of the Waverton Peninsula into a multi-million dollar maritime precinct.

The site would be suitable for environmentally sustainable development as an on-water and on-land vessel storage facility complemented by vessel repair, public pick-up and drop-off berths, small craft launching and/or a charter vessel facility.

In addition, public foreshore access and adaptive re-use of all structures of heritage significance are key requirements of the development.

Berrys Bay is one of the few remaining sites on Sydney Harbour where significant maritime development is encouraged.
